How to Create a CTA Overlay in Find@

Last updated on January 10, 2026

A CTA Overlay (Call-to-Action Overlay) lets you display interactive elements such as messages, forms, or offers on top of a page when a user visits your short link. CTA Overlays are ideal for lead capture, announcements, and engagement.

What Is a CTA Overlay?

A CTA Overlay appears as a popup or overlay on the destination page. Unlike frame redirection, it does not show a top bar — instead it injects interactive widgets directly for the visitor.

  • Displayed on top of the destination page
  • Supports lead and interaction widgets
  • Works with Overlay redirection

Step-by-Step: Create a CTA Overlay

  1. Log in to your Find@ dashboard
  2. Go to CTA Overlay in the left sidebar
  3. Click Create CTA Overlay
  4. Choose the type of CTA you want to create
  5. Configure the CTA settings
  6. Save the CTA Overlay

Available CTA Overlay Types

  • CTA Contact
Create a contact form so visitors can reach you via email.
  • CTA Poll
Ask visitors a quick question and collect responses.
  • CTA Message
Display a short message with a link or call-to-action.
  • CTA Newsletter
Collect email addresses with a newsletter signup form.
  • CTA Image
Show an image-based popup (for promotions or announcements).
  • Coupon
Display a coupon code that users can copy and use.

Assign a CTA Overlay to a Link

  1. Go to Links
  2. Edit the short link you want to use
  3. Set the Redirect Type to Overlay
  4. Select the CTA Overlay you created
  5. Save the link

The CTA Overlay will now appear when users visit the link.

  • Collect leads or email subscribers
  • Promote limited-time offers or coupons
  • Display important announcements
  • Engage users with polls or messages

Best Practices

  • Keep CTAs clear and focused on one action
  • Do not overload users with multiple popups
  • Match the CTA design to your brand
  • Test the overlay on mobile and desktop
