One domain, verified once

A branded domain replaces the generic Find@ address on everything you publish with a hostname your audience already trusts. Verify ownership once, and reuse the same connected domain everywhere.

Two ways to connect

Ownership comes first. Every connection starts with a unique ownership TXT record — pointing traffic alone does not claim a domain.

  • CNAME for a subdomain

For bio.example.com or another subdomain, add the assigned CNAME at your current DNS host. A CNAME connection does not support the apex example.com.

  • Managed Nameservers for an apex domain

For example.com or another root domain, replace the nameservers at your registrar with the assigned Managed Nameservers, then wait for active status.

Choose the DNS path that fits your hostname

A CNAME connection is for a subdomain; an apex or root domain uses Managed Nameservers. Both paths require the ownership TXT record before the domain can become active.

DNS changes can take time to appear. Keep the records Find@ provides in place and use the Domains workspace to check status before assigning the domain to a product.

Can I use a root domain?
Yes. Use Managed Nameservers for an apex or root domain such as example.com; CNAME connections are for subdomains such as bio.example.com.
The unique ownership TXT record proves that you control the hostname before Find@ connects it to your account.
